VAIO P で EMGD 1.10

HardwareSupportComponentsVideoCardsPoulsbo にEMGD 1.10が出ていたので試してみた。
under testing なので覚悟して。
なお、マシンはVAIO P (VPCP11ALJ)。
まずは上記の通りインストールします。
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gma500/emgd110
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install emgd-support
$ sudo emgd-xorg-conf
ここで再起動すると画面がキラキラして使えない。

次を参考に作業を2点

1. 10-emgd.confを書き換えます。
$ sudo cp /usr/src/emgd-1.10.0.2209/xorg.conf.sample-VAIO-P /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-emgd.conf
こんなところにサンプルが置かれていたんですね。
2. nattyのlibx264-106をインストール。
例えば次からダウンロードして、
http://packages.ubuntu.com/ja/natty/i386/libx264-106/download
$ sudo dpkg -i libx264-106_0.106.1741-3_i386.deb
これで、再起動。
結果、
・ubuntu (3D/2D)のパフォーマンスは良くなりました！
・gnome-shell は相変わらずfall back(classic mode)になる
・sound 再生が割れるのは変わらず
引き続き、テスト and 情報収集を。
